NAFA-BOX started the way most of my projects do — with a deadline
and a gap. My Al Nafi EduQual oral presentation assessment was
set for 3 September 2026. The best preparation
material available was the playlist of past assessment sessions:
140+ recordings of students presenting their projects and being
questioned by the examiner. It shows you the real format, the real
questions, and the ways real presentations succeed or fall apart.
The problem: that knowledge was locked inside ~150 hours of video
nobody can search. You cannot grep a livestream recording. So before
studying the content, I built the tool to study it with — download
pipeline, auto-caption transcription, topic cataloging, study-note
generation, and this site.
How it helped me prepare
Revising from structured study packs rather than raw video changed
my preparation: I studied the examiner's question patterns across
dozens of sessions, saw how strong students structure their
walkthroughs, and collected the follow-up questions that repeatedly
catch candidates out. Weak spots recur across years — and now
they're searchable.
It worked: I passed my Level 6 assessment with 80.5%. The tape of
that session is in the library like every other — including the
examiner's critique of where I lost marks, because that is the
part future students learn the most from.
Disclaimers
NAFA-BOX is an unofficial study resource, not affiliated with or
endorsed by Al Nafi. Transcripts and study notes are machine-generated
from YouTube auto-captions and will contain errors — the timestamped
video is always the source of truth. All recordings belong to their
original publishers and are linked, not re-hosted.
